The Wise Man Corojo, originally released as El Güegüense, is the flagship cigar from Foundation Cigars and a bold tribute to Nicaragua’s rich cultural heritage. Created by master blender Nicholas Melillo, this medium to full-bodied cigar takes its name from El Güegüense, a legendary Nicaraguan folk tale and cultural icon.

Handcrafted at the esteemed Tabacos Valle de Jalapa (TABSA) in Nicaragua, this blend features a silky, reddish-brown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper, a dual Nicaraguan binder, and aged Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. The result is a complex, flavorful smoke layered with notes of cedar, cinnamon, floral spice, leather, and cocoa, with a clean, aromatic finish and superb construction throughout.
